The sign standoff, called a plaque support, is one of the larger selections in this category and will be able to hold heavier materials. The wider the dimension of the mounting fixture the more burdensome design it can hold. This sign standoff can be used in lobbies, salons, and banks to provide a more sophisticated look for customers. The polished hardware can also be used in your home to add some class to any artwork, print, or certificate that needs to be mounted. The aluminum sign standoff has a beautiful shine that will draw attention to displays, without over taking them. The sign standoff has a fairly simple and easy mounting procedure. There will need to be 1/2" holes drilled through your display in order for it to be hung. The sign standoff will need to be fastened to the wall and then your plaque inserted over top. Then, the cap will need to be screwed into the barrel and hand-tightened onto the display. The sign standoff installation is over very soon and without much effort on the part of the installer. Panels that are no more than 1" thick can be hung with these mounting supports. You can use panels up to 1" thick.
